Geodesy Group - Aalborg University

Located in two beautiful cities of Aalborg and Copenhagen in Denmark, the Research Group of Geodesy provides unique scientific research related to theoretical and applied geodesy. Our researchers address many urgent concerns facing the world today including the climate change, and address the demands to improve the efficiency of Earth System, Water Cycle, Atmosphere, and Geophysical models for real-world applications. Our research covers both the aspects of fundamental theoretical and practical geodesy. The group is know for its research and development in relation to satellite Earth Observation (EO) Data Assimilation system at regional and global scale. We produce various in-house satellite gravimetry, altimetry, GNSS positioning, GNSS-R and SAR products.
