Sandesh Sharma, a Civil Engineer by profession, now he is  a program manager for a Geo-ICT company. His academic background includes a specialization in Ground Water Engineering during his Bachelor's studies. Currently, Sandesh is pursuing a Master's degree in geoinformatics to further deepen his knowledge in this field. Throughout his career, Sandesh has gained experience working with remotely sensed and space-based data, including satellite imagery and UAV imagery.

Mandira Singh Shrestha is a Senior Water Resources Specialist at ICIMOD. She has over 25 years of research experience that cover broad areas of climate services, disaster risk reduction and water resources management. Her main area of expertise includes transboundary flood forecasting and monitoring, application of satellite-based products, regional cooperation, hydrological and hydraulic modelling for hydropower projects, early warning systems and end user engagement for reduced risks and increased resilience.

Tejendra Kandel is a PhD Candidate in Hydrology at the University of Virginia, Department of Environmental Sciences. His research focuses on eco-hydrological dynamics in mountainous watersheds, particularly in Nepal’s mid-hills, where communities face increasing water scarcity due to climate change, land-use shifts, unplanned pine plantations, and deforestation.

Amin Shakya is a Doctoral Candidate at the ITC Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation, University of Twente, the Netherlands. Amin is researching the application of Earth observations to monitor the world’s rivers. Amin has a double master's degree in Water Science and Engineering from IHE Delft, the Netherlands and TU Dresden, Germany. In addition, he is active in youth networks, most notably, the Groundwater Youth Network.
