Convective activity
Convective activity is "general term for manifestations of convection in the atmosphere, alluding particularly to the development of convective clouds and resulting weather phenomena, such as showers, thunderstorms, squalls, hail, tornadoes, etc." (American Meteorological Society, 2024)
