Are you interested in leveraging public Earth observation data and visualization techniques to contribute to SDGS? You have until 26 January 2024 to sign-up to the PaleBlueDot challenge organized on behalf of NASA and the US mission to international organization in Vienna.

Graduate student at University of Nebraska Lincoln

Betty is a graduate student and a Fulbright scholar at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, pursuing a master's in Natural Resource Science with a specialization in GIS. She also holds a hold Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Information Science and Remote Sensing from Dedan Kimathi University. With a background in geospatial analysis and remote sensing, Betty has worked with the University of Nebraska, the National Drought Mitigation Center, and the Kenya Red Cross to support disaster response and preparedness by analyzing community risks, impacts, and vulnerabilities.
