The European Space Agency (ESA) is organizing an Advanced Training Course on Land Remote Sensing with a focus on Hydrology and Hazards in collaboration with the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. This course is dedicated to train the next generation of Earth Observation (EO) scientists and experts, working in the domains of hydrology or related hazards, in using data from Copernicus Sentinels and other satellite missions for science and applications development. The course is part of the EO Science for Society element of ESA’s Future EO programme.

GEO-OPEN-HACK-2024 is a comprehensive and informative event designed for advanced geo-coders to explore various open tools and approaches for upscaling geospatial analysis on open High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure.

The International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) is the flagship conference of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS). It is aimed at providing a platform for sharing knowledge and experience on recent developments and advancements in geoscience and remote sensing technologies, particularly in the context of earth observation, disaster monitoring and risk assessment.

Face to Face course on Cloud Computing and Algorithms for EO Analyses

The third F2F course of the EO AFRICA R&D Facility will take place in Rabat in close cooperation with CRASTE-LF. African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology in French Language.

The ISPRS will host the first Geospatial Week in Africa and Middle East in Egypt, 2023; with the the "Remote Sensing for Better Future". The ISPRS Geospatial Week (GSW) is a combination of workshops organised by about 30 ISPRS Working Groups active in areas of interest of ISPRS.The GSW will provide a platform for international scholars, graduate students, future scientists and industrial sectors to learn exchange knowledge and experiences of applying geospatial technologies for sustainable development for better quality of life for people around the world.
